Common questions

Do attendees need to download an app?

No. CrowdCam works entirely in the mobile browser. Attendees tap a link or scan a QR code and they're instantly inside the event — no App Store, no Google Play, no account required.

How many cameras can stream at the same time?

Up to 20 simultaneous live camera feeds per event. Each camera operator scans the same QR code and labels their angle (Main Stage, Band, Dance Floor, Fan Cam, etc.).

What happens to the photos after the event?

Every photo stays in the Memory Wall until you delete the event. Anyone with the gallery link can browse and download full-resolution photos. The kiosk slideshow also works post-event for a recap loop.

Does it work on iPhones and Android phones?

Yes. Filming and photo upload work on iOS Safari 15+ and Android Chrome 90+. The rear camera defaults automatically. Wake lock prevents screen sleep on both platforms.

How does the SMS magic link work?

In the Admin Console, paste a list of phone numbers. Choose a pass type (Watch, Upload Photos, or Film). CrowdCam sends personalized 1-tap links via SMS — each link opens the event pre-filled with the recipient's name and role.
